What storage do you have? If it's 8GB, it might mean you're relying on the page file. With 16GB, you should be okay.

Yeah, I’ve got 16GB, but it still feels terrible. Last week “Let Loose” worked perfectly, but now it’s not. Why?

I plan to purchase additional memory and a M.2 SSD. This is the first time I've used one before. I intend to format the SSD, reinstall Windows, and transfer all my programs to the M.2 drive. Since I might need to erase the drive later, upgrading now could save me effort.

It should work well if you do a fresh installation and adding more RAM doesn’t solve the problem, then it’s likely there’s an issue with the hardware.

I question the RAM upgrade, but a quicker SSD could work better.

I often leave many items open, though it probably won’t solve the problem—it might just ease other issues in Tarkov. A lot of players say these changes work between 16 and 32. In Hell: Let Loose I’m not sure. Hopefully these adjustments will help fix my problems.

I hadn't noticed that before. It seems certain titles are exceeding 16GB storage capacity. I thought roughly half of an A16GB configuration was being utilized effectively, and the need for 16GB wasn't necessary. It's possible some builders are adding more RAM and think performance boosts come from just rearranging internal connections. That could be a helpful tip. The 32GB model caught my attention though—I didn’t expect it to appear in such a long time. Edited August 5, 2022 by Bombastinator

Tarkov is quite a chaotic game. Those stutters reminded me of insufficient RAM, though I’m not sure why it suddenly stops. A full system reset might help. My other drives are just running games, so it’ll be enjoyable to reinstall everything. Ugh.

It could really be a problem with memory usage. Poor coding might cause this. Though it seems unlikely, it's not out of the question.

It seems like the issue might be connected to software glitches. This kind of problem usually pops up in unusual or specialized situations. For example, on Tarkov’s new map Lighthouse, the Easy side works better with fewer obstacles, but the middle area often requires restarting a few times to move through. It felt quite random, and I couldn’t pinpoint a clear trigger—maybe it happens when many tanks are burning nearby at once. Not sure what to try next.
