Bad pronunciation of words in video games.
I've experienced unusual stuttering in games lately. My performance dropped after upgrading my CPU from an Xeon1231v3 to a Ryzen 5600X. It only occurred on specific maps, mainly Tarkov for a while. After the latest game wipe on Lighthouse, it started happening again on other maps, including Titanfall 2 and Hell Let Loose. I suspect EA is responsible. I often need to restart to resolve it. I don't know what's causing it. I've attached some videos. Recently I did a BIOS update and reinstalled graphics drivers, but the problem persists. The MSI logo appears in the video. I hope you can offer some suggestions. Thank you. Edit: Forgot to mention that my Tarkov issue began two years ago after the upgrade. I've never had problems with Titanfall 2 this year; it's happening randomly now. Hell Let Loose has been active in the last two weeks, and it seems completely random given its severity.
Tarkov is known for not liking AMD CPUs, though I don’t know why. This applies mainly to the stutter issue. Other factors can cause it too. It’s usually something that might bring a computer down but not completely, plus many other possibilities. One example mentioned involved covering just one fan of a video card with a skelotonized Wi-Fi card—working fine otherwise and not overheating. It could also relate to software conflicts or other unknown issues. Edited August 4, 2022 by Bombastinator
Hell Let Loose functioned properly until last night when it experienced three stuttering issues. Forced restarts followed, causing loss of position in the server and squad. It’s now completely broken.
Would clearing your operating system drive and reinstalling everything be a wise move? Your games are mostly on Raid 0, 2x2tb, and 2tb external drives, with some on a smaller SSD.
Consider trying a milder approach first. There’s a single-button feature named “refresh” that partially restores the OS files while keeping everything else intact. Benchmarking tools usually run on older hardware and don’t seem to address the actual issue. Support for the “refresh” option exists.
Could the problem be connected to the hardware? The issues in Tarkov began about two years ago after I upgraded my graphics card, RAM, and CPU.
