To understand the situation better, look at the number of wireless networks on your WLAN list and their signal strength. Also, clarify your IPS contract details—download and upload speeds, and the type of connection you use (cable, LTE, fiber, etc.).

It occurs when you purchase a budget router and Wi-Fi card. I own a premium Wi-Fi configuration with a 4x4 card, a 3x3 router, and a dedicated line to my ISP. The ping from the router via Wi-Fi is just 2ms, while the server response is 58 ms—especially since I’m not close to that server. My Asus PCE-AC88 works smoothly at 1Gb/s.

Gather your ISP details, claimed connection rates, and any relevant information. Your FritzBox model and the duration of the problems are also needed for a solid starting point.

VDSL 100Mbps speeds are available, with roughly 50 Mbps upload. It seems safe to use Vodafone for this connection.

I switched to 5GHz because I saw it run faster... but my connection is still worse, so I went back to 2.4GHz. The problems are really old and haven’t changed much. We initially thought it was a Vodafone issue, but after checking with the LAN cable, it seems like our own problem.

It seems you're trying to reach around 100Mbps, but you're asking if someone is using a provider and linking their computer to it. Let me know how I can help!
