It might be useful, but I don’t suggest putting money into a platform that could become outdated quickly because of new consoles, even with a powerful CPU. I completely agree with you about the importance of having at least six cores without hardware acceleration and also about adding the 9700k chip which doesn’t support it.
I plan to save up some money and upgrade fully to Ryzen. It seems like the best choice. Appreciate all the support!
