You can definitely set up a backup plan to protect your Steam accounts. Consider using multiple accounts or linking them securely so you’re not completely dependent on one. If you ever need to switch, having separate accounts makes it much easier. Just remember, losing access to one account can be frustrating, especially after past issues like the Microsoft account problem.

Enable 2FA for your Steam account and ensure your passwords remain strong. You’ll be safe.

I need an email address to set up a Steam account. Since I lost mine, I had to create a new one. I was able to log in, but there were many limitations.

Valve likely has solutions to assist you. Even with saved copies, games using steamAPI require a valid Steam account to play. The safest approach is to safeguard your Steam account properly.

I didn’t need to, since I hadn’t assembled my gaming PC yet, so I played mostly free-to-play games. I just made a new one. I’m not familiar with Valve’s support.
