Backup with Steam software

I restored the system using Steam Backup and saved a few games. After cleaning the PC, it seems straightforward to reinstall the games and restore their files via the Steam client? Thanks =]

I would simply paste the Steam folder files for backup purposes.

You can quickly recover it using the Steam client. I regularly use it to save games on another drive before removing them. This avoids needing to re-download them since data limits are an issue. Plus, when you and your friends play the same title, just one person has to download it.
