I initiated the backup around 17 hours ago, and it hasn’t changed much since then. There seems to be an issue—should I stop it and begin again?

The only recovery option included with the original software was a link directing users to access backup and restore features for Windows 7.

I also have more than 500,000 files ready for backup. That’s where I’ve been working from since I began this process last night.

The disk IO refers to the interaction between the system and storage devices. Files are indeed being read from and written to the disk.
