You’ll need to back up important files such as browser data, saved passwords, and installed applications. The program files folder is a good starting point, but also consider saving your documents and downloads folder. Other essential folders include user profiles, settings, and any custom configurations you’ve set. Make sure to copy everything relevant to your personal setup before upgrading.
I’d likely stick with the same setup and transfer it over, only updating when necessary. Keeping configurations is usually tricky, so I’d opt for cloud-synced browsers or export options. Simply copying program files isn’t reliable because of registry differences and dependencies.
