I needed to test Windows 11 first by making a full system backup using Backup and Restore. Once confirmed the backup was present and listed as a restore point, I installed Windows and encountered problems, so I rolled it back a few days later. Now Windows 10 isn’t functioning properly, and I want to recover my backup from last week. However, the only available restore point is from about a year ago. In the backup folders, there’s a PC name folder from a week prior with 400GB of files and a WindowsImageBackup folder containing a Backup Set dated a week earlier. When I tried to restore using the advanced settings, it only showed very old restore points. What should I do? I can see the files and the image folder, but restoration isn’t available from them.
