I’m not sure if the location is right, but I’d love some guidance. The video you mentioned showed downloading games onto a server for faster access. If you have about 400 Steam games and want to keep them all updated on one PC, you could set up a local server or use a cloud service with streaming capabilities. Let me know if you need help planning the setup!

There are several methods available for this. Others might have different approaches too. You can utilize Steam directly to create a backup of your local files (by right-clicking the title, selecting Properties, then Local Files, and choosing Backup Game Files). Alternatively, you can copy files from your Steam apps folder onto an external drive or network share, moving them as needed, and let Steam handle the installation. This is how I've done it before. For larger games, I now store them on a 2TB USB-C NVMe SSD to free up space or speed up transfers. Previously, I relied on DVDs and standard USB drives.

I wasn’t sure if relocating them would work, but the details are helpful. I chose two 3TB HDDs and put them in the storage drives I’m using for backup. I’m thrilled to finally have space for much of my collection! Thanks for the guidance! — Llessur
