I'm considering swapping my Lenovo M82 board for a B75 model, but I need to find one that lets me adjust the case fans via software. For example, with an MSI B75 would the Afterburner be able to manage all fans?

It seems like you're looking for a motherboard that fits an Intel 1155 chipset, preferably with four DDR3 slots and PCIe 4.0 support.

MSI afterburner doesn't manage case fans directly. Verify if FanControl offers control options.

It's worth noting that the m82 requires non-standard connections, making a straightforward motherboard replacement unfeasible.

Not found in my knowledge. SATA 3 and SATA 2 for 24-pin and 4-pin motherboard power connectors.

I only have the motherboard and PSU, which are standard 800W with a 14 to 24 pin extension. The DDR3 RAM is Samsung 2GB, except for one that's a Chinese model.

It's not the usual setup, but having the adapter works fine. However, managing fan control via software feels unusual. It usually leads to a single fan hub solution, which is what most boards offer. Back then, many systems lacked this feature and those that did often didn't receive updates beyond Windows 7 or 8.

I’d prefer a fan hub, but checking Lenovo’s support page shows the product is nearing the end of its service life. It seems only about six months remain before it stops working. That’s not what they mentioned a week ago.
