You're looking for a suitable B650 motherboard for your Ryzen 7 7700 PC with a 2.5Gb LAN. There are many choices available, but focus on models that support that speed and offer solid connectivity options.

Do you have a price range in mind for the motherboard? I’m considering the MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI and the ASUS PRIME B650-PLUS, both of which should work smoothly with the 7700. They support 2.5Gb LAN.

I’d choose the Asrock B650 livemixer because it offers superior VRM compared to the other boards, provides additional USB ports, and is more affordable.

It has a unique appearance but shares a similar VRM design with the MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI. Not every configuration would suit the Asrock B650 livemixer. The 7700 model is also a 65-watt component, meaning most boards should work well with it.

The budget stays under 200€ (I’m in France). The Asus Prime costs about 170€, ASRock is near 180€. I also looked at the MSI B650M gaming plus Wi-Fi for 170€, but noticed some bad reviews about BIOS issues and no BIOS available on the MSI site.

I experienced boot difficulties with the MSI B650M Wi-Fi model, while my ASRock boards worked fine.
