I’d choose the B550 Rog Strix E/F for its solid build and decent audio codec. If you’re concerned about Intel 225V issues, consider the internal PCIe LAN port as a backup. For stability, prioritize boards with reliable LAN chips—avoiding potential faults is key. You can opt for an internal port if needed, especially since you plan minor overclocking and want smooth performance with 32/64GB RAM. The USB-C + Thunderbolt, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and multiple SATA ports are nice extras but not essential. Focus on internet stability and overall reliability.

the b550 tomahawk max wifi is a solid choice paired with an MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI ATX AM4 board. PCPartPicker suggests the x570s tomahawk max wifi is a great option, though the tuf gaming plus wifi model has a slightly noisy fan that could be bothersome.

My Asus B550-F is running smoothly with no issues. It’s a solid board that performs well. After updating the BIOS, everything was straightforward. Stay safe and good luck!

My view is that these options are priced too high for a 5700X project. The main reason to choose a 5700X over a 7600 would be the cost of the motherboard, and if you're investing $150-200 in a board, you'd likely get similar performance from a 7600 at a comparable price (around 15-20% faster per core). A 5700X only just justifies itself if your board costs under $120 and you're using very affordable DDR4 memory. Otherwise, spending around $200 on a motherboard and about $80 on fast DDR4 might make an AM5 build more sensible.

The price is the main concern. 7600 is 70 dollars more than 5700x. The motherboard seems either used between 100 and 140 dollars or new up to about 180 dollars. I’m hoping to find a decent budget B650 around 200 dollars.

It's worth considering those older forum discussions. If issues persist, a reliable PCI LAN port might offer better stability and performance.

Sure. My setup was in a different room from the router, so I bought a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth adapter from Newegg and installed it on my system. The Wi-Fi functioned perfectly and Bluetooth worked with my mouse. Here’s the link to the product page: https://www.newegg.com/p/pl?d=pce-axe58bt. Stay safe and good luck!
