Hello. For the new PC you're setting up, the B550I chipset should work fine without any BIOS updates if your Ryzen 5 3600 is compatible. Just make sure the motherboard supports that chipset version.

All B550 boards work with 3rd generation Ryzen chips right away. They’re actually designed for 3rd gen only, as support for the previous generation ended.
