Can I link a HDMI or Display port monitor using a cable and/or adapter to my B550 AORUS PRO AC? The product details don’t clarify this clearly. Let me know if you need further help.

Did you have a GPU connected? Plug it into the port instead of the motherboard. The alternate mode works only on motherboards that support Thunderbolt 3/4.

I'm interested in this too. My current GPU lacks a display port, so I have to rely on HDMI 2.0 and lose out on 10-bit color for my Ultrafine monitor. I'm thinking about getting a new build next year, possibly a Ryzen 5700G, and using the motherboard's display until I finalize the rest. I've noticed that connecting the monitor to the USB C port with a Ryzen 3600 triggers an error about Display Port, which might mean it's trying to connect via the motherboard's display interface.
