Do you require Wi-Fi? If not, the B550 Tomahawk works well, and the Mortar is suitable too—just accept an ATX case inside an ATX enclosure.
I need Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so if I want them on the B550 I must purchase a Wi-Fi card priced at 50$. That’s the gap between the B550 and X570 in cost. The main decision now is between the B550 mortar or the X570 Tomahawk.
