B550 ITX Guidance - Aorus Pro AX/Asus Strix?
I've been comparing the ASUS B550I Strix and the Gigabyte B550I Aorus Pro AX. Most Aorus reviews are positive, but some users report problems with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, plus reports of early failures after installation. The Aorus is the more affordable option, around £50 less than the Strix, yet it offers better performance and durability. Which one should you choose?
Do you enjoy boosting memory speeds? It looks like BuildZoid suggested the Gigabyte board.
I have this iTX X570 Aorus Pro with Wi-Fi, I was thinking about the B550 but skipped it because I didn’t compare it to a PCIe Gen 4 board. I’ve always used Gigabyte boards and never faced any problems that weren’t my fault.
I won’t go overboard since it fits in a NR200P. That’s reassuring. The only concern right now is some problems coming up from user reviews. I’m unlikely to use these options unless I really need them, as I usually stick with the cable setup. Do you know if this model comes with a Ryzen 5000 built-in? I’d like to order soon.
It was a really enjoyable task, far more rewarding than atx, though I accidentally severed a fan wire in half while assuming it was a zip tie.
