I'm almost finished buying the necessary components for my new build (3700x, 2x32gb 3200mhz Corsair LXP). I need a solid mobile processor. I've selected some ATX options that look promising, considering their VRMs, build quality and price range: Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite, Asrock B550 Steel Legend, and Asus Strix 550-F (I prefer not to buy from MSI). I'm curious if these boards can boot without a GPU installed, since I often skip the graphics card and just use remote access. From what I've learned, most Asus and GB models should work fine for this. Does anyone have experience with any of these setups?
B550 Aorus Elite performs worse than the B450 Tomahawk yet costs more, a pattern seen with many Aorus boards. The B550 Steel Legend offers decent value, though the Strix B550-F stands out as the top choice among the three based on VRM performance. The Steel Legend ranks one tier below the B550-F.
I don't really like MSI products. From what I've noticed (especially in some buildzoid videos), the Aorus Elite comes with VRMs similar to Steel Legend and Strix-F. I'll probably go for the Strix model since Asus might push bios updates via fwupd, otherwise I'll just pick the cheapest option. Anyway, do you know if any of these can run without a GPU without issues?
A bit off topic, but I was wondering what concerns you about MSI. I’m thinking about purchasing a board and the Tomahawks are well-known in that community.

While it can support a 16-core processor like an A320, it won't deliver optimal results. Under heavy multitasking, the CPU might not run at full speed, leading to subpar performance. If you prioritize features over aesthetics, the Aorus Elite isn't a good choice unless you're okay with compromises.
