The B550-F STRIX motherboard uses a 2x16 or 4x8 PCIe configuration. It depends on your needs—both options support high-speed expansion, but the 4x8 might offer more slots for future upgrades.

They will behave similarly under identical timing and pace. Still, Ryzen generally performs more consistently and efficiently when running at double speed compared to quadruple speed, particularly at faster rates.

It should function similarly to any other B550 board. You’ll need a 2x16 connection for future RAM upgrades.

According to what I understand, it follows a daisy chain pattern. From what I've been told, there doesn't appear to be a T-topology B550, though that might not be entirely accurate.

I reviewed the manual briefly, and it appears to be accurate.
