A bit unusual, my Plex Server went down this morning (it was okay last night), so I turned on the TV connected to it. There was no display output, thinking it was the typical HDMI Handshake issue, so I performed a cold boot which usually fixes it. Now I’m seeing Q-Code 9E. The manual mentions it’s for later use, which isn’t helpful right now. Anyone else encountered this problem or code? The only changes that might matter are Windows updates. Post codes often indicate more than just an error. They usually show the position in the delivery sequence and the system status. You should place the diagnostic speaker on the FP header to hear error tones. Count them carefully and share your thoughts below. The link mentions AMI beep codes, which are clear signs of problems compared to a Q code reader.

It looks like an HDMI/HDCP problem is the cause. I’m getting no video at all during POST, so I can’t enter the BIOS. The screen comes up when Windows boots. All standard BIOS and driver updates have been applied. A Display Port to HDMI cable is on its way, and I’ll check if that resolves the issue.
