Desktop specs are confusing—zoom in on the Zen 2000 line, then the 3000 series, 2.4GHz, 4000 series, and only laptop models. The 5000 series is listed as Zen 3, but it looks like the support info isn't clear. The ROG Strix B550 E gaming model page doesn’t indicate compatibility with that CPU either.

Need a Ryzen 3000 or 5000 for PCIe 4.0? Avoid focusing on that as the main goal—PCIe 3.0 still works well enough for most people.
