Amazon UK stocks the Asus TUF B550M Plus in pre-order for £169.99... that's a bit pricey! They also carry the Strix B550i for £226.13p. Perhaps a B450 would suit your son's setup?

Take a few months to adjust. The initial adoption fee tends to be steep. TUF is also working on a somewhat inconsistent update for that issue.

I picked what seems like a terrible moment to refresh my PC. My early adopter budget went to the ROG Strix B550-F for $190. Back then, I invested $240 on a motherboard in 2013—so... okay?
