Ir will happen, but for more NVMe SSDs in the future, you’ll mainly get Gen 4 speed on one port. To have several with Gen 4 speeds, choose an X570. If NVMe isn’t essential, opt for B550 plus a dongle.

I believe I'll go with the X570 since I'm considering upgrading an NVMe drive later, perhaps when I really need it.

It's accurate that premium X570 boards offering similar VRM performance to the B550 Tomahawk usually come with higher prices. Additionally, if you opt for a board with dedicated Wi-Fi, it's wise to include an add-in card. Wi-Fi USB dongles tend to be of poor quality at best. For those interested in a B550 model with built-in Wi-Fi, a B550/M TUF Plus WIFI board is available around $170—just a bit below the Tomahawk price, but still leaves plenty of room for upgrades.

I'm in Sweden, so things cost more here, but I can fit the X570 Tomahawk into my budget without breaking the bank. I think I'll go for it.
