B450m tomahawk with maximum red LED lighting
I updated the computer cases today and noticed the GPU indicator light changed to VGA red, suggesting it wasn't being recognized or failed. Despite that, nothing functioned properly—PC stayed on, then restarted, and after about an hour the system booted again with the red light appearing. In short, my GPU was detected but kept having detection problems, especially after changing cases to a Corsair 220T. Any advice or solutions for this issue?
That didn’t work as expected. I changed the connectors on the Corsair PSU SATA cable because I needed three, but that might be the problem. The PC still functions, though there’s a slight delay at startup. I also touched the gold pins on the bottom of the GPU and cleaned them with a paper towel afterward, but it was done after the issue appeared. What else could you try? It seems minor right now, but it’s worth checking further.
I discovered the problem. After inspecting my drives, I noticed my HDD wasn’t showing up. It seems dropping it from another case might have damaged it. In short, the PC now works smoothly without issues... This is frustrating because that 1TB HDD held all my videos and stuff...
