Hi, here are your questions rephrased:

1. Should I upgrade step by step to reach version 3.60, or should I jump straight to 3.60?
2. Is it safe to upgrade all the way to the latest version at once, or should I go through intermediate versions?
3. What’s the best way to flash the BIOS—should I keep the 2600, update to a newer version first, and then install the 5700x?

Yes, you can modify the BIOS if the version doesn't require updating before this one. If your CPU supports it, you can upgrade to 4.60. For more details, visit the ASRock support page at the provided link. Remember to use the original CPU model before and after the update.

I'm uncertain. If you require a middle-ground bios, it will clarify that. 2: No issues detected. 3: The right BIOS version makes sure your motherboard is compatible with the 5700x. Use the 2600 during updates.

I reviewed the Bios notes on the page; versions older than 2.10 don't need intermediate versions to be loaded first, so you can use 4.60 directly. Yes, that's the correct approach. 3. Use the 2600 because the system won't start with a 5700X unless P4.30 or later is present on the board. The 5700X needs P4.30. https://www.asrock.com/mb/amd/b450m steel legend/#CPU
