Hi, after purchasing a 2.4-inch SSD, my PC began resetting itself during startup once and then functioning normally afterward. I found that using the 2.4-inch slot triggers this behavior. When I shut down via Windows and restarted, the issue didn’t appear, but plugging it back in or changing the power supply caused it to happen again. CPU model: Ryzen 5600x; Motherboard: B450 ASUS TUF PRO GAMING; RAM: G.Skill RpijawsV (2X8) at 3600MHZ; SSD/HDD: ADATA SX6000 PRO, CORSAIR MP510; GPU: GTX 1080 ARMOR O.C.; PSU: Corsair RM650x; OS: Windows 10. My BIOS version is 3211. I attempted a different SSD but still encountered the same problem. Someone on a local forum mentioned it might be a broader issue, so I’m considering contacting support. Thanks for the advice. Here’s the video link: https://youtu.be/cxErBbPccnw

That looks like a normal boot process to me. If it boots right after the 1st restart i wouldn't worry about it.

I don't know, it seems to fail when 2. m2. slot is empty. This is the first time I encounter this boot issue.

Typically comes from XMP memory training after cold boots. Normal behavior. Works on all my Intel and AMD Asus boards.

It might need additional steps demanding an immediate reboot

It seems you're concerned about potentially harming your parts, like the HDD, during a restart.

It's not like it should be this way, just relax
