Hey everyone, I'm working on a build for a friend and running into some problems. The specs are pretty standard: Ryzen 5 3600 B450, Tomahawk Max, RX 570 8GB, 16GB DDR4, GSKILL 3200, RM750X 1TB SSD, plus a 120GB SSD for booting. I'm not sure if it's an MOBO issue or a GPU problem—any thoughts? When everything is connected and checked properly, the system powers on briefly, flashes three debug screens (GPU, DRAM, boot), then shuts down. After removing the GPU, fans spin up and it works fine. I'm wondering if this is related to a BIOS update or if the GPU itself needs fixing. Any advice would be appreciated!

B450 TOMAHAWK MAX works with R5 3600 since it came out. I'm testing the same setup but using the X model or a different CPU. It's hard to pinpoint the issue, but it might not be related to the BIOS update.

the psu is currently among the options. do you think there are other possibilities like this? it might happen if the gpu isn't working properly, the slot isn't connected fully, or the slot itself is defective.

I tried various options and still didn’t notice the power supply issue. It performed well with your Ryzen 7 2700X, X470 gaming pro carbon, and GTX 1060.
