These are excellent choices, though the best fit depends on your CPU and whether you require X570 support. You'll typically find it for PCIe 4.0 compatibility when paired with a Ryzen 3000, or for complete Ryzen 4000/Zen 3 functionality.

Based on prices and stock on PCPartPicker UK, I’d recommend the TUF X570-PLUS or Strix X570-F from ASUS. The Asrock Steel Legend and Gigabyte Aorus Elite are also solid picks. Keep an eye on the X570 Tomahawk from MSI, though its release date isn’t set yet.

Support the idea behind both statements. But what makes x570 a better fit for your setup?

Tomahawk is a strong choice now, though the exact launch date isn't clear. You mentioned including the Strix X570-F, which is a solid alternative to Elite or Plus models.

I just saw your message confirming you're ready to go, so the Tomahawk isn't really on the table. From what I've gathered, some stores are hinting at release dates but nothing's confirmed yet. The Strix F stands out as the top choice among the boards I talked about—its VRMs match the TUF, it offers a better audio codec, Intel LAN, and looks more appealing. The TUF Plus adds some extra features, while the Aorus Elite comes in just behind with slightly weaker VRMs but still includes Intel LAN.

I've been checking out YouTube reviews nonstop over the last couple of days. The Strix-F looks promising, but I'm unsure if it's worth the price increase compared to Elite or Plus. It's really tricky to decide!

Your upgrade timeline is flexible. A B450 model can effectively meet the requirements of a sparse upgrader with your setup.
