I’m planning to upgrade to the Ryzen 5 3600x with an MSI B450 Tomahawk board. I’m a bit unsure about RAM since my previous setup was Intel and most sticks fit easily, so this feels different. Could someone with a similar build or experience give advice? I want 2x8GB total, aiming for high-quality RAM. Any tips or suggestions would be great!

I own a good and compatible RAM module that matches my workstation's motherboard and RAM type. It offers solid overclocking potential, with recent results reaching 14-8-8-16-21 at 3200 MHz and 1.39v. I still have some work to do before finishing the overclock. I also have a Ryzen 5 3600 processor. Avoid the RGB PRO version as it won't work; it will function but won't allow significant overclocking due to BIOS limitations.

Thanks for the response. I won't go overclocking but I'll look into the link. Appreciate it!
