I don’t have current stock info, but you might look for B450 Mini ITX boards listing dual M.2-2280 ports. The cheaper ASUS Strix models usually offer just one, and even top brands like Gigabyte typically provide only a single slot. Check specialized retailers or forums for alternatives.

The selection of B450 over B550 stems from historical availability and compatibility constraints. Fewer B450 models offered dual slots, possibly due to the limitation of a second M.2 slot supporting only PCIe Gen 2 for B450 devices.

I’m focusing on keeping my 1600 running longer rather than jumping straight to a 5600X. I’m weighing options carefully and considering staying with my 8086K setup for now, since it already has two units. The aim is to reach the latest DDR4 technology instead of rushing into DDR5 next year.
