Hello. I'm setting up my first system and chose the Ryzen 5 3600. I purchased the MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max on sale, but the specs say it supports RAM up to 4133 MHz. The page doesn't mention 3600 MHz specifically. Here are my questions: 1. Should I opt for RAM with a lower frequency and CL, like 3200 MHz CL14, since 3600 MHz isn't listed? 2. Has anyone actually installed this motherboard with 3600MHz RAM? 3. If not, what should I do? And if so, which alternatives would you recommend?

Choose either two 8GB modules at 3600MHz CL16 or two 8GB at 3200MHz CL14. The latter is quite costly.
2) If the system can handle up to 4133MHz, it will accommodate the 3600MHz option.
3) Opt for the 3600MHz memory with this model: https://www.amazon.com/G-Skill-Trident-2...233&sr=8-1
For the 3200MHz memory: https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-CMW16GX4M...271&sr=8-3

Check the forums for details on compatibility. The board backs 36000Mhz support. https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/...ort-mem-19

Thanks for the prompt reply! @ddennis002, I should have looked it over first. My mistake.
