I noticed the CPU running hot, so I considered reapplying thermal paste. I did it. The PC started normally, but the stock cooler kept temperatures around 50°C during idle. I went with a lower voltage—1.45V instead of the usual—and also turned on "Game Boost" in BIOS. After rebooting, the system showed a warning about not modifying the original settings when Game Boost was active. Then everything froze completely. I flashed the BIOS multiple times, changed the GPU, cleared CMOS, removed all cables, and even took the CPU out to test the paste. Eventually, the system worked again. Now it boots fine, everything spins, and the RAM lights up with a full red CPU indicator. What’s the solution?

Removed all components from the board and started fresh. It functioned well with my CPU indicator active on an MSI B450m mortar max. That’s the best advice I could give.
