B450-F gaming board without video output
I recently assembled a gaming PC with a B450-F Gaming motherboard, equipped with four 64GB DDR4 modules and an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X with six cores. The power supply is connected, and everything appears to be in order. However, the monitor fails to detect the HDMI signal from the motherboard. A yellow indicator light is on, but I’m unsure what it means. Could you help me figure this out? Thanks.
You lack a dedicated GPU and the 5600X doesn’t have built-in graphics, meaning you won’t receive any signal. Consider using a Ryzen APU (those models end with G) or install a GPU in a PCIe slot and link your monitor to it.
