Both options work well, but Gigabyte VRMs offer better stability. For budget-conscious builds, the ds3h is a solid choice, especially since it has four RAM slots that make future upgrades easier.

The B450 HDV lacks a heat sink for the vrm, making the DS3H a preferable choice. However, alternatives with superior vrm heat sinks are worth exploring, such as the ASRock B450M Pro4 and the Gigabyte B450M S2H.
