B450 Arous M VGA light and boot icon stick after BIOS upgrade
I updated my BIOS from F62 to F67d via the Aorus website and never changed the backup BIOS. All downloads worked through the Aorus site, but the backup BIOS remains unchanged. The Aorus logo shows "del: BIOS setup" and the VGA light stays on while the CPU fan stops spinning at that moment. Specific details: Ryzen 7 3700X, 4x8GB Corsair vantage DDR4-2400, B450 Aorus M. I tried unplugging everything, resetting CMOS by removing the battery and shorting the jumper, and leaving only one RAM stick. Despite these steps, the same result occurred.
I'm attempting to change to the backup BIOS but haven't succeeded. I tried Method 1: power off, hold the power button until the computer starts and then shut it down again, then press the power button once more. The backup BIOS should activate and re-flash if needed.
Method 2 involves holding both the power and reset buttons for about ten seconds before releasing. This should cause the system to boot into the backup BIOS.
I also found a suggestion online about shorting pins to force the BIOS, though I'm hesitant due to the risk. If it works, I'll try again after purchasing a new processor. The issue seems related to integrated graphics, and I'm considering an upgrade if possible.
