First, it seems the installation of multiple NVMe drives might be restricted due to limitations like disabled PCI lanes, even though you checked the manual. Second, the second M.2 slot is shorter than your 2280 size drive, so it may not fit unless you adjust the drive length. Consider verifying the exact slot dimensions and drive specifications before proceeding.

These restrictions apply mainly to premium boards featuring large connectors, extensive functionality, and numerous PCIe ports. 2280 remains the standard size, while the smaller slot accommodates 2280 drives. The upper slot extends only slightly to accommodate 110mm (22110) devices.

Losses 2 SATA ports for each M.2 drive. Refer to section 1.7.13. The issue here is the USB count on the rear interface, which only shows 4.
