I own the Aorus B450 elite motherboard and have seen similar issues with graphics cards not exceeding 50°C. My friend uses the same board and faces the same problem. Anyone have suggestions on how to resolve this?

Absolutely, I understand, but it's affecting my performance. In Tarkov I'm currently around 60 FPS, whereas I expect to hit 120.

It's not about the GPU temperature. The graphics card is too demanding for the game. Escape from Tarvok requires more processing power. What resolution are you considering?

It seems the problem might be linked to VSync being enabled. Check that setting and turn it off in the game.

Is the game running in a windowed mode? It needs full screen or main focus to prevent GPU issues and lower power usage. The RTX 2070S is more than sufficient. A GTX 1060 works well for high/ultra settings with smooth 1080p and 1440p frames. An i7-8700 fits that setup, making the game more CPU-dependent.
