B350-F is forgetting to remember the Ryzen 1800x overclock setting!
Hi everyone,
I'm having trouble with the BIOS settings even though I'm adjusting the core clock in the BIOS, like setting it to 40 or 38.5. The system shows a different clock when it boots. I've uninstalled AMD Ryzen Master because I think it might be causing problems. Any suggestions?
Thanks all.
Are you using the newest BIOS for your motherboard? What type of RAM are you using?
I’m using T-Force Nighthawk RGB 2x 8Gb at 2800Mhz.
I’m not very interested in updating my BIOS since it’s currently functioning properly – version 3803 from American Megatrends Inc., dated 22/01/2018.
It seems the BIOS isn’t working correctly, as it would save your changes. Updating the BIOS might be necessary. After that, reverting back doesn’t seem to help.
Do you have the most recent BIOS version for your motherboard? What type of RAM are you using?

I'll try it tonight. Thanks.
Once you have done that, you might consider swapping out the CMOS battery. If it's not working, it won't preserve the OC either.
After that, you might attempt swapping the CMOS battery. If it fails, it won't preserve the OC either.
Is this typical for a fresh board? I should have noted I assembled this new one yesterday.
