I've tried hosting modded MC servers before with hosting services, but the experience has often been poor—leading to cancellations or switching providers. Now I'm considering a more hands-on method using AWS Lightsail at the $40/month tier (8GB RAM, dual-core processor, 160GB SSD, 5TB transfer). It looks like a reasonable price. Anyone have any insights on hosting modded MC servers with Lightsail? How reliable is it? Will the two-core CPU handle a large-scale modpack with many players? I'm not very familiar with Linux, so if you know a good distro to try, that would be great. Thanks for your help—I'm a bit unsure about my English too!
