I began this discussion because many users are facing issues after updating to 20H2. There are several reasons why updates keep failing repeatedly. One major factor is that Microsoft hasn’t supported LSI RAID controllers since 1909—the Windows version, not the actual year. The thread I referenced pertains to Windows 10 2004 when LSI RAID card support ended. It wasn’t addressed then and remains unresolved. This conversation started on September 2, 2020, with its final reply just seven days ago. No, that answer wasn’t from me. Also, the community’s response was disappointing, suggesting users should contact LSI for updated drivers rather than expecting Microsoft to fix their own products. I’m running Windows 10 1909 with a RAID 0 configuration and have limited confidence in any fixes or workarounds. This post is just to share my experience and express disappointment. Thank you for remembering LSI Raid cards. We won’t forget how we were let down by a company that seems more interested in data collection than user support.

It looks like you're pointing out concerns about Microsoft's lack of support for certain hardware and drivers. You feel they should be held accountable, possibly due to security or compatibility reasons that require new firmware or software. It seems the responsibility lies with the hardware makers to resolve these issues, not Microsoft. Consider focusing your feedback on LSI instead.

Sure thing. It seems you're making a strong point about Microsoft's responsibility. They really do have the power to stop supporting certain products whenever they wish. It’s not a simple issue—it’s part of a broader pattern where many tools fade from support. As for sending birthday cards to Bill Gates, I’ve stopped altogether and won’t be reaching out anymore.

All you do is guess. You don't have a single factual argument. Where's the official microsoft statement that they stopped supporting LSI products? Where's the mail they sent to broadcom telling them they needed to make a new driver for security reasons? Either show some proof or stop crapping up this thread. All you do is hypothesize. You're not helpful or even funny at least. At some point people who have the same problems as me will find this thread through search engines and they will see your reactions. Think about that before you post again.
