xmp functions correctly, but when you turn it off and attempt manual speed adjustments, it restarts at the standard 2133. Could be a configuration issue or a default setting. Or maybe your setup is misaligned with the expected parameters. (Just starting out—keep checking the specs!)
With XMP enabled, the motherboard boosts memory speed while adjusting timing and voltage settings. Speed, timing, and voltage work together to determine performance; changing one without the others disrupts the balance. Voltage might also require fine-tuning. If you prefer manual control instead of XMP, refer to the manufacturer's verified speed/timings/voltage settings: https://www.gskill.com/specification/165...cification. Otherwise, proceed with XMP unless you encounter problems.
You're having trouble getting the device to follow the correct speed settings, even when they match the XMP profile. Check your configuration files and ensure the XMP data is properly applied. Also, verify that the playback device supports the required bitrate and that any codecs are compatible. If issues persist, review the system logs for errors.
