Avoid purchasing Escape From Tarkov!
when I bought the standard edition early in the Tarkov beta, servers were terrible—especially for Australians, since there were no dedicated ones for about six months. I was happy with the game and after getting new servers it worked fine. Then I posted on the Escape From Tarkov Beta Tester Four forum saying the developers were shady for not offering refunds, even though in Australia it’s illegal to refuse one. I asked why they didn’t let refunds. My comment didn’t contain bad language and wasn’t meant to be racist, but after just ten minutes I got banned. It wasn’t that I was rude, I was just curious about their practices. The post was removed and I was blocked from the forums. The censorship here is outrageous, plus they broke laws set by the ACCC. Below you’ll find the reason for my ban—utter nonsense! Please don’t buy into this game! TL;DR: no customer service, no refunds, and absolutely no respect from their staff!
