Hey guys,
I recently purchased a USB Hub and installed it on the back of my monitor. My laptop uses a Type C connector to the monitor, and I have two USB ports there—one for my iPhone charger and another for the hub. The hub connects my peripherals, including a Razer Huntsman Elite and a Razer Deathadder v2. Every 5 to 10 minutes, my mouse and keyboard shut down briefly before coming back on. I'm using Windows 10 on a Razer Blade 15. I was thinking about connecting the hub directly to the laptop, but since I often need to remove the laptop, it would be more convenient to use a single cable. Any suggestions or advice?

Might relate to power and bandwidth limitations. Including numerous usb devices on a hub while connecting one usb can divide the available power. Consider using a powered usb hub.
