I don't have the precise answer, but if it bothers you a lot, you can change how the screen is positioned and it will feel like you're at the edge of the monitor even though you're in the middle. Just move one of the screens in the display settings and reorder them. Still, you'll need to find a workaround—this seems like a task that requires some mouse adjustments when switching between displays.

Sure, I understand. It’s okay if you need background software often—PowerToys' FancyZones works well, as suggested. If you don’t want extra programs, the built-in Windows option is sufficient.
