alright I will try to keep it short, since a week or 2 my windows 7 is behaving strange, for example when I browse my spicy memes it does not preview the pictures like it did before instead I only see the names of the files+the file type as I will demonstrate in the picture with this thread. Also when I try to save a file whether that be world, excel or a picture sometimes (40%) of the times my windoes explorer just crashed making it impossible to save the file (my browser chrome then also crashes. Did anyone else have had this before and maybe knows a fix apart from reinstalling windows? A ll help is greatly appreciated

Try removing the thumbnail cache: 1. Save all current work 2. Open Task Manager 3. Stop explorer.exe processes 4. In Task Manager, click File > New Task 5. Execute cmd 6. Change folders by entering "cd C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer" without quotes 7. Remove all databases by typing "del *.db" 8. Close cmd 9. Start a new task 10. Launch explorer Also thinking about performing a quick system scan in Command Prompt: - Execute "sfc \scannow"
