I improved my motherboard/cpu and the latest PCIe X16 slots don’t accept the capture card I own. It’s an average C027 capture card for reference. The motherboard details: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09NWF1JQC?psc...ct_details The PCIe X16 slots are version 3, which likely explains the problem. When I insert the card and boot up, a message appears only when it’s present. I changed the BIOS to read it as version 1 and adjusted some settings, but nothing helped. After going through the BIOS options and launching Windows, it takes over half an hour to load. I’m pretty sure there’s almost no chance of fixing it, though I wanted to look for advice.
