AVAST reported finding signs of Grime on my PC. Is this concerning or safe? It seems minor to me since AVAST urged me to purchase Grimefighter. My BSoD issues persist—could Grime be involved?

Safe. Avast seems aiming for profit. Every machine carries some dirt.

Absolutely, that's what I thought too—it's odd how a pop-up appears right away when Grime is found on your PC. Thanks for the help!

No issue at all. It shouldn't allow ads on the PC even though it's meant to protect it—probably trying to earn revenue somehow.
