You can purchase a physical copy without needing the disc for installation. You can use the code to download the game instead of buying it through a store. Since you don’t have your disk driver installed, you might need to install it yourself or find an alternative method to run the game.

Yes, it seems feasible, though I'm not entirely certain about activation or Blizzard titles. It probably works similarly across platforms.

You can simply enter the code; don't need to rely on the disk.

The last blizzard disc I bought had an old installer. You need to enter the code to link the game to your account. Plus, you must still get the game file. The data isn’t on the disc itself.

I own just one PC disc, which is Red Orchestra 2. It contained nothing beyond the Steam code. Uncertain whether it’s solely on the disc or hidden in the package. Might be something worth investigating.

The price reached between $38 and $53 on eBay recently. Those seeking fast payment are interested in it.

The last time I tried that was during the release of Fallout 4, when there was only one disk inside and I still had to download a lot. It wasn’t as bad as GTA V with its 12 DVDs and slow speeds, but it was still frustrating.
