It's frustrating the controller support is so problematic. Probably a result of using Unity, isn't it?

You're just starting to enjoy these creative indie games, which is great! It's normal to feel a bit unsure about controller support since you're used to playing with a 360 controller and haven't had any problems. The issue isn't really there—it's just that people often have different expectations or experiences with controllers.
When using third-party devices, problems are common. Even then, some users report the right trigger isn't responding, especially with Xbox One controllers. This would have been fixed if developers allowed us to rebind gamepad buttons. The game also doesn't support keyboard key rebinding, but it remains a fun experience.
