I'm planning to replace my CPU with a Ryzen 5 5600X and wanted to see what others think about compatible motherboards. The options I've checked include the B550 AORUS Elite AX V2 and the RogStrix B550-F Gaming, but I'm curious about what other people would recommend.
Choose the option that interests you and receive the strix board.
The PC part picker mentioned incompatibility, but most others confirmed it works fine. You likely won’t face BIOS issues unless you use specific models.
I recommend the B550 Auros Pro. Unless you have a need for the better RGB software supported by ass-us there's no reason to get the b550-f. The b550 auros pro is cheaper than the B550-f, has better VRM's and VRM cooling, has 12 mostly usb 3.0 and 3.1 ports, and the drivers don't come with ass-us bloatware.
